We’re very grateful to the team at Architecture PLB, who helped transform the courtyard at our Winchester base at the Carroll Centre in Stanmore.
The outdoor space has been refreshed with new seating, planters and bright paintwork, creating a much more welcoming area for families, volunteers and staff to enjoy.
We had previously improved the inside of our building with the help of community volunteers, but funding hadn’t stretched to the exterior. Architecture PLB kindly stepped in and offered their support.
At the start of the year, their team met with us to understand what we needed and to talk through ideas. They later came back with design proposals and then carried out the work over the following months.
The finished courtyard was officially opened by the Mayor of Winchester during our 20 year anniversary celebrations.
We’re incredibly thankful to everyone at Architecture PLB for their generosity and hard work. The courtyard is now a lovely space that we’ll enjoy for many years to come.
